It goes wrong in the gaps: the drawing that does not account for how the thing is made, the finish that was specified by someone who never handled the material, the piece that will not fit the lift because nobody asked. What Is Included
Concept to installed, or any part of it
Design and CAD
We take a sketch, a reference image or a written brief and turn it into drawings and photoreal renders your stakeholders can approve. If you already have CAD we build to it and flag anything that will not work before it is cut.
Engineering
Load and structural calculations for large, tall or cantilevered pieces. We engineer to the real weight with margin rather than the nominal one, and design the piece to split for transport from the start.
Manufacture
Metal fabrication and welding, precision acrylic, hardwood and timber joinery, silicone and resin casting, custom moulds, large format 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, all in the same building.
Finishing
Powder coating, spray and hand applied finishes, polishing up to full mirror, colour matched to your brand reference with test panels approved before anything is finished for real.
Compliance
RAMS where the venue requires them, fire rated materials with certification, food safe specification on every surface that meets food. Full detail here.
Delivery and install
Packed and delivered to site, store or logistics hub, UK and worldwide. Where a build needs fitting rather than shipping, our own team installs to the venue's access and timing requirements.
How It Runs
Five stages, no surprises
1. Brief and quote
Send the purpose, rough sizes, the real load, your date and a budget range. An itemised fixed quote usually comes back within one working day, with stated assumptions and the lead time in writing.
2. Design and approval
CAD drawings, renders and material samples for your team to sign off. Nothing is cut until you have approved it, and if the design changes we requote before anything is made.
3. Make
Production in our Dorset workshop with progress photographs as it goes, so you can show a client where their piece is without asking us.
4. Deliver and install
Packed properly, delivered to the date and installed where it needs fitting rather than shipping.
You do not need to visit. Almost every project we deliver is run remotely by video call, drawings and progress photographs, and we generally prefer it that way because decisions get made faster.

Design and build is the default, not a requirement. If you have the design and need a maker, send the drawings. If you have the maker and need the engineering, we can do that piece. If the whole thing is a sketch on the back of a running order, that is a perfectly good starting point and it is how a large share of our work begins.

Answered plainly
Do we have to use you for the design as well?
No. If you have full CAD we build to it. If something in the drawing will not work structurally or will not survive handling we will tell you before we cut, not after.
Who is accountable if something goes wrong?
We are, for everything we did. That is the point of a single supplier. There is no gap between the drawing and the build for a problem to live in.
Can you work with our architect, designer or agency?
Yes, routinely. We take drawings from designers and agencies and build to them, under NDA where needed, and we never approach your client.
What if the design changes halfway through?
We requote before anything further is made, so you approve the cost change rather than discover it on the invoice. Changes before cutting are usually cheap. Changes after are not, which is why sign-off matters.
How long does a design and build project take?
Typically 2 to 3 weeks from sign-off, depending on the nature of the job and how busy the workshop is at the time. Design and approval sit before that and depend largely on how quickly your side can approve.
Will you install, or only deliver?
Both. Most pieces are packed and delivered. Where a build needs fitting rather than shipping, our own team installs on site and works to the venue's access, timing and reinstatement requirements.
