Custom Pottery Stamp, Personalised Maker's Mark for Clay
Sign your work like a pro. Our custom maker's mark stamps press your initials, logo or studio name crisply into clay, so every mug, bowl and earring you make carries your mark.
Each stamp is made to order in our Dorset workshop. The handle and stamp face are printed as one solid piece, so there is no glue and nothing to come loose, and we mirror your design for you so it reads the right way round in the clay.
Which size do I need?
- 15mm: one or two initials, ideal for earrings, pendants and small pieces
- 20mm: initials or a simple symbol for the base of mugs and cups
- 25mm: our most popular size, for a small logo or short studio name
- 30mm: a more detailed logo for bowls, plates and planters
- 40mm: bold logos and backstamps for platters, tiles and wall pieces
How to order
- Choose your size and add to basket
- After ordering, send your initials, text or logo with your order number via our contact page or by replying to your order confirmation email. Simple black and white artwork works best, and a vector file (SVG, PDF or EPS) is ideal, but a clear JPG or PNG is fine too
- We send you a digital proof to approve
- Once approved, we print and despatch your stamp

Artwork tips
- Keep lines no thinner than 0.5mm and text no smaller than about 3mm high
- Bold, simple shapes give the clearest marks, especially on 15mm and 20mm stamps

Care
Use on leather hard or soft clay. A light dusting of cornflour stops sticking. Rinse in cool water and dry. Not kiln, oven or dishwasher safe. Once used with clay, keep for craft use only and not for food.
As this is a personalised item, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, but we will always put things right if anything is wrong with your stamp.

Care Instructions
When caring for and cleaning your products, please use warm soapy water and wipe clean only. Abrasive cloths and detergents should not be used. This item is not suitable for the dishwasher and should not be submerged in water.
Although the highest amount of care has been taken to ensure each product is food-safe and ready for you to use, please wash before first use.

Delivery methods
We have a growing catalogue of ready to send products running parallel to our handmade bespoke service. All products ready to send are despatched next working day via your chosen delivery method.
Made to order and handmade products are indicated by the blue tag at the top of the product information - generally, these are ready to despatch within 3-5 days and they will be sent via your chosen delivery service once made. For rush orders or special requirements, please contact us.
UK Delivery
Within the UK, deliveries will usually take place between 8am and 6pm and all our delivery methods our fully tracked. We offer free UK standard delivery (3-4 days) on orders over £75*. For orders under £75, a £3.95 P&P charge will be applied at checkout. UK orders over £150 benefit from free express delivery (1-2 days).
International Delivery
We ship globally with the majority of orders being despatched via our expedited service with Royal Mail or DHL Express. Orders to the US and Canada can arrive in as little as 2-3 business days, while other international locations take on average 3-5 business days. Please note, delivery times vary depending on your address and are for guidance only.
Returns Policy
We offer the right to return within 14 days of purchase.
You must contact us within 14 days and we must receive your return within 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Please note - return orders may be subject to a £2.00 restock and admin fee. This will be deducted from your refund.
